The Plank Slime is a curious slime found among the Peach Creek Burbs which is almost entirely stationery; seemingly unable to move or eat.
Rumours have surfaced that the Plank Slime is capable of movement as long as nobody is around, and there have been reports by ranchers that food mysteriously disappears and Plank Plorts can be found next to it. But that can't be right...

While the Plank Slime is often Docile, when agitated it has been known to fling itself at people... or is it being flung by something else?
Plortonomics
The Plank Slime's plorts have yet to see any real practical use, but their wood-like texture and being incredibly flammable makes them a good emergency fuel back on Earth. They can even be processed in a woodchipper to make good sawdust for hamsters. Think of the hamsters!
