Minerals are resources that can be sold, used for science, or used for other things. They can be produced by certain slimes, found using a drill, or washed up in a river or lake. Small minerals can be carried, while large minerals can be picked up like a largo or in the Large Items Storage Compartment.
This page is free edit, add your own ideas. Please put it in one of three categories: Metal, Rock, or Crystals. State if it can be large, small, or both, and put it in this format like so:
This is a small mineral that is only found in this article, and it appears as a short description containing trivia and general information about the mineral like appearance and fun facts.
This mineral is commonly found while panning the top of this article.
This mineral is used for teaching editors the format for properly posting on this article.
These gray pebbles are a common small mineral that results from rock plorts sinking into the earth. While most of the material morphs into jellystone, some of it is too mineral-rich to be dissolved, and it forms into pebbles of Rockium.
This mineral is commonly found lining rivers and ponds in both the dry reef and the indigo quarry, basically in any place that rock slimes live. In addition, it can also be found with a drill.
These pebbles can be forged into Rockium Metal or "blue metal," just like rock plorts. However, Rockium Metal forged from gravel tends to be stronger and of higher quality, as nature has filtered out the organic compounds. As such, there are many slime science uses for this, as you need half as many pebbles to make something that requires rock plorts.
Cooled Lava Shards/Crystals
This orange crystal is a unique mineral of both small and large sizes that is produced by Volcanic Slimes, and it is formed when plorts mix with lava and cool off. This is also the same process that creates lava dust.
Volcanic Slimes, while dangerous, are your most reliable way of getting this mineral, as their eruptions after eating always produce this mineral. However, you can also find this mineral in small amounts while panning or using a drill in volcanic areas of the indigo quarry, and rarely in large amounts washed up in crates.

This stone, while cooled down and safe to touch, always has magma inside of it that will never cool off, making it a good light source and heat source. It has a glasslike composition, making it great for making art as well.
These small, bluish crystals resemble the crystals that a crystal slime produces, and they are formed when crystal plorts morph into jellystone. Crystal plorts contain minerals that instead mix with other minerals to create spikes that do not disappear within seconds.
When you are drilling in any volcanic area, you have a fair chance of finding this mineral. You can also find it while panning, but it is not as likely.
Like crystal plorts, crystallium shards can be forged into crystallium metal. However, due the lack of organic compounds in the material, metal produced from shards tends to be purer and of higher quality. If something requires crystal plorts, you need half as many shards and can get the job done.
Few ranchers have not seen this mineral at some point, as these crystals are found all over the indigo quarry in large formations, and curiously are always hexagonal prisms.
You can find this mineral most often while panning rivers.
30 Newbucks (small), 90 Newbucks (large)
These crystals are mostly useful because scientists need samples for studying the odd properties of this mineral, and the commonly found crystals are too big. Otherwise, they make great decorations, both to sell and for your ranch.
This is a common, cheap mineral that is easy to find.
This mineral is often washed up on beaches, and it is also found while panning rivers.
This mineral has been proven to make vegetables grow better, and it is very popular among ranchers. It is very cheap, but very common, and thus it can be profitable.
