Slime Scientists are bewitched by Hex Slimes and their abilities, they believe that all the Hexacombs they've eaten has caused a fundamental change to their bodies. They eat apiary products and honey Plorts and favour Hexacombs and will produce 3 plorts when fed it. Since they can eat Honey Plorts they can't form Largos with them.
Rancher Risks[]
Hex Slimes will sometimes create hexagonal crystals when they are on the ground and more often if they are agitated. These crystals pose no harm after they are created and actually can be used as platforms but if a careless Rancher is near when one is being created they will be partially stuck in it and take some damage, in addition their energy will slowly be drained. A splash of water will destroy a crystal and will also stop a Hex Slime creating any for a short time.

Hex Plorts are used for manufacturing a range of hexagonal based materials like graphene and nanotubes. In addition they are used in many mathematical endeavours due to their geometric precision.

- The hexagonal crystals they make can be used as platforms to reach higher places.
- This also means they can use these crystals to jump out Corrals, be sure to have High Walls when corralling them.
- Other slimes near a created crystal will be pushed away.
