Silver Slimes are rare slimes found inside of crates outside of the Silver Artics, where they are found somewhat commonly and behave like normal slimes, though they do NOT form largos. Outside of the Artics, they are scared of ranchers and will quickly run away, so keep an eye out and make sure to pack something to shoot them with.

Slimeology[]
Silver Slimes much resemble their distant cousin, Gold Slimes, but are gray instead of yellow. They do not form Largos, and their slime is reportedly extremely tough rather than malleable and shapeable.
Rancher Risks[]
These do not pose a risk by themselves, though as with any other rare slime, if you spot one, you could just end up having a nap with the fishes in the Slime Sea.
Plortonomics[]
They are tough, shiny plorts that are valued less than Gold Plorts, they are used for similar purpouses, and these have an additional use in being pretty good surface smoothers and in heavy machinery as a coating to make materials harder.

- As with any other rare slime, make sure they don't spot you.
- They can be vacpaced, but cannot be stored. All this does is stop them from escaping, so it does give you some time to shoot them if you're a little slow.
